Message from Mr Roger Poon
Before I establish Liaoning Wei Dragon Engineering & Machinery Co., Ltd, I have been in the construction industry specializing in tower cranes for more than 35 years. It has been a lifelong dream to manufacture and build tower cranes. The initial few steps were not easy but I was privileged to have several dedicated staff who are willing sacrifice ‘blood, sweat and tears’ to achieve this dream and they have also made this dream their goal. After several grueling years of designing, building and testing, we got our crane to go thru and passed the CE/ SGS quality system specification. In 2010, we showcase our first tower crane at the Shanghai Bauma Fair. We were pleased with the end result and the number of people who had visited our stand to express their interesting our crane.
Over the years, I began to see the competition between manufacturers as more complex than being a black and we hit a choice between cost and features. Though cost of equipment is every customer primary object, the quality of equipment also has to be of its highest standards. Starting a factory in China is far more ideal due to the cheap labour and land cost. However, where safety issues of our tower cranes are concerned, we do not compromise it and use only good quality mechanisms and spare parts. Just by keeping our labor cost low, it has helped to keep the cost of tower cranes competitive. We aimed to provide our customers with excellent and first class after sales service. Though for most Chinese manufacturers, service has not been at the heart of their reputation in quite the same way, we promised to deliver our customers high quality products and services.
Where to next? We are committed to more innovation each year. We look forward to working with our Engineers to constantly improve on the performance of our tower cranes.

The General Manager
Mr Zhang Xiang Guang is the key personnel who runs the entire factory. He has been in the tower crane industry for more than 40 years. Before joining Liaoning Wei Dragon, he was with SYM factory for about 20 years where he was put in charge of the manufacturing of parts as well as the complete crane.
He has been with Liaoning Wei Dragon for more than 10 years. With his vast experience coupled with his educational diplomas awarded to him in Beijing, he is a qualified Engineer and the right person to oversee everything in the factory.
